IAH employees aren’t making minimum wage… 

All over the country, people are working harder than ever and falling deeper into poverty. Currently one in four American workers is paid below the poverty level.

Right here in Houston’s airports, United/Continental is profiting from this crisis. The contractors it hires pay their employees as little as $10,000 annually, and in some cases even steal from them by making employees report non-existent wages. Poverty-wage jobs like these hurt our whole city by contributing to foreclosures, hunger, and crime in our neighborhoods.

Airport service workers are standing united for good jobs and a new way of doing business in Houston—where everyone who works hard is able to get ahead and working families don’t have to struggle to make ends meet.
